This time, the spotlight is on actor George Clooney, a longtime Democrat donor and media favorite, who is facing sharp criticism from President Trump after quietly securing French citizenship and distancing himself from the country that made him wealthy and famous.
As previously reported by conservative outlets, Clooney and his wife, international attorney Amal Alamuddin Clooney, have officially become citizens of France through a naturalization decree. Their two children, eight year old twins Ella and Alexander, were included in the process.
