A Ukrainian witness expected to provide information to Republican senators investigating Hunter Biden’s business dealings was prevented from traveling to Washington just one day before his scheduled appearance.
Now, newly disclosed government correspondence is raising questions about whether federal officials completed the paperwork supporting that decision before the State Department took action.
The controversy centers on Andrii Telizhenko, a former Ukrainian Embassy official who also worked with Blue Star Strategies, a Washington consulting firm retained by the Ukrainian energy company Burisma.
