The Issue Democrats Face As They Campaign to Ensure President Joe Biden Wins the Presidency
According to a recent survey by Echelon Insights, 48% of prospective voters in states considered to be competitive would choose former President Donald Trump if the vote were cast right away. As opposed to this, 41% of respondents said they would back Biden.

Among the participants, 11% were unsure.
In swing states, Biden has a 40% favorability rating while Trump has a 43% rating.
Even his own party poses problems for the president.
With 33 percent of respondents reporting this desire, a sizeable number of Democrats, both nationally and in battleground states, are declaring their support for a candidate other than Biden. This puts the president at a serious disadvantage.
In the vital 2020 presidential election, Biden defeated Trump in states including Michigan, Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin that were considered to be key battlegrounds. It’s important to note, though, that Trump has cast doubt on these results.
Echelon Insights recently interviewed 1,020 likely voters between June 26 and June 29 for this study. The margin of error for the poll findings is plus or minus 3.9%.
Joe Biden was the undisputed frontrunner in the Democratic primary, with support from 65 percent of potential Democratic voters. Motivational writer Marianne Williamson earned 4% of the support, while Robert F. Kennedy Jr. received 14%.
When given the choices of Biden, Kennedy, and Williamson in the study, 6% of respondents chose “someone else,” while 11% were undecided.

It raises a critical question: How can Democrats win with an 80-year-old candidate whose cognitive impairment is getting harder to hide or explain?
Trump managed to fascinate audiences like a genuine rock star, drawing hundreds wherever he went, in contrast to Biden’s poor showing in 2020, marked by scant campaigning.
In a nod to his earlier accomplishments, Trump draws an amazing throng of 50,000 people during the Fourth of July weekend, demonstrating his continued appeal.
In a countrywide poll performed by Echelon, prospective 2024 voters were asked to choose between Biden, Trump, and Cornel West of the Green Party as their favorite candidate. According to the findings, West received 4% of the vote, while Biden received a close second with 42% of the vote. Trump received 43% of the support.
Kanye West’s participation in the presidential election, according to University of Akron political science professor David B. Cohen, may potentially sway the tight race between Democratic front-runner Joe Biden and GOP front-runner Donald Trump. This can be detrimental to the incumbent candidate.
“There is always a danger a third-party candidate can impact the electoral college results, particularly if they receive enough votes in a battleground state or states to change the outcome,” Cohen told Newsweek.
“In a close election, Cornel West could well be a spoiler,” he said. “There is no evidence to suggest that the 2024 election will be anything but a very close election decided by razor-thin margins, which means that a third-party candidate could have an outsized influence in the result.”
The History Channel claims that Ralph Nader, a third-party candidate and consumer activist, may have had a big influence on the 2000 election despite receiving just a small portion of the popular vote (less than 3 percent). Al Gore, a Democrat, may have lost the hotly contested election to Republican George W. Bush as a consequence of this effect.
The 2024 presidential election will take place in only 16 months, bringing with it uncertainty and countless opportunities.

Of course, President Biden will get re-elected, because when the 2020 Presidential Election was stolen by the Democrats, what is stopping the Democrats from trying the same thing in 2024?
