WATCH: Owens Doubles Down Publicly

For more than half an hour, Owens detailed the substance of the closed-door meeting, which she said lasted approximately four and a half hours. According to Owens, the sit-down was “extremely productive” but long overdue, echoing a post she made on X shortly after the meeting concluded. That meeting ultimately replaced a proposed public debate after Owens declined to turn what she viewed as a serious matter into a spectacle.

The tension between the two sides had been escalating publicly for weeks. Erika Kirk appeared on Fox News and accused Owens of exploiting the tragedy for personal gain, claiming Owens was “making hundreds and thousands of dollars every single episode, going after the people that I love because somehow they’re in on this.” Owens fired back, dismissing the interview as a “performance” and arguing that Erika had “unmasked herself and the entire TPUSA machine in one interview.”

The public dispute intensified further when Erika Kirk participated in a town hall hosted by Bari Weiss, where she expressed concern that speculation surrounding her husband’s assassination could taint the jury pool in the case against accused shooter Tyler Robinson. Erika specifically referenced claims involving Egyptian aircraft. Owens responded sharply, accusing her of dodging the real questions. “Literally NO ONE accused Erika or Charlie of flying on Egyptian planes,” Owens said, arguing the issue had been misrepresented.

Owens doubled down during her podcast, telling viewers, “I am certain that these Egyptian planes are incredibly shady, and that they were, in fact, tracking Turning Point USA Faith, broader events. Of course, Erika was at some of them, Charlie was at some of them, but it is– the pattern here is undeniable.” She added that she plans to present “overwhelming evidence” showing the planes “regularly fly in and out of Israel” and are “turning their transponder off each time that they do it.”

During the episode, Owens acknowledged that some of her own rhetoric may have gone too far. She admitted that Erika was especially upset by a tweet in which Owens labeled Turning Point a “God-forsaken company” and urged donors to cut off funding. “I have to own that that’s aggressive,” Owens said. “That is actually aggressive.”

However, Owens insisted her frustration stemmed from what she described as unanswered questions, conflicting statements, and internal contradictions. She claimed Erika conceded that certain false statements — or what Turning Point leadership prefers to call “miscommunications” — had come from multiple individuals within the organization.

One major point of contention involved alleged text messages sent by Charlie Kirk shortly before his death, in which he supposedly expressed fear that he would soon be killed. Erika Kirk had previously denied those messages existed during an interview with Glenn Beck, stating, “I have his cell phone,” and that he “didn’t say that.” Owens said the issue was addressed during the meeting, though she remained dissatisfied with some of the explanations.

Despite the lengthy discussion, Owens made clear she was not backing down. “I did not at all recant any of my suspicions,” she said, acknowledging that disagreement remains between herself and Turning Point leadership.

Owens also highlighted a list of unresolved concerns, including the actions of Terrell Farnsworth, who removed SD cards from cameras after the shooting, the presence of Turning Point Faith leaders Pastor Rob McCoy and his son Mikey McCoy at the scene, claims regarding the absence of an exit wound, assertions about Charlie Kirk’s alleged rejection of $150 million from Israel, and ongoing questions about whether Tyler Robinson acted alone.

For now, the meeting appears to have lowered the temperature — but not ended the debate. Owens made clear she intends to continue asking questions, regardless of backlash, signaling that this internal conservative feud is far from over.
