Trump’s Latest Appointment = Liberal Meltdown!

But that hasn’t stopped the Trump movement from rallying around Ingrassia, whose credentials and ideological clarity appear tailor-made for the moment.

Trump himself praised Ingrassia as a “highly respected attorney, writer, and Constitutional Scholar” in a post that predictably triggered media hysteria. And the man of the hour wasted no time laying out his mission.

“As Special Counsel, my team and I will make every effort to restore competence and integrity to the Executive Branch — with priority on eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse in the federal workforce and revitalize the Rule of Law and Fairness in Hatch Act enforcement,” Ingrassia declared on social media.

While legacy media obsess over his past podcast, Right on Point — which ended in 2020 and featured mainstream conservative commentary — Ingrassia’s supporters say the outrage is a distraction from his qualifications. The podcast, co-hosted with his sister Olivia, focused on political analysis and traditional values, attracting a loyal listenership among young conservatives.

Critics, however, are digging through old tweets and podcast segments in a last-ditch effort to discredit the nominee. One post from December 2020, made from the podcast’s official X account, urged President Trump to “declare martial law and secure his re-election.” The post came amid widespread debate and investigations into election irregularities that plagued the 2020 race.

Ingrassia’s connection to the controversial Tate brothers — Andrew and Tristan — is also being dragged into the spotlight. As an attorney, he worked at a firm that had represented the pair during their legal troubles abroad. For the left, that’s apparently enough to sound alarm bells.

Another post getting renewed attention is Ingrassia’s Substack essay titled “Free Nick Fuentes,” where he blasted Twitter for silencing individuals based on alleged political or ideological bias. His critics accuse him of sympathizing with extremists, while his defenders say he’s standing up for the First Amendment and opposing Big Tech censorship.

Before this nomination, Ingrassia briefly served in the Trump administration as White House liaison to the Department of Justice and later to the Department of Homeland Security. He was even present during the release of some January 6 prisoners who were pardoned by Trump — a move that sparked further outrage among establishment figures.

According to reports, Ingrassia was later reassigned following a dispute with another official over “loyalty” to the president — an incident that, if anything, further cemented his reputation as a true believer in the MAGA movement’s mission.

While the Beltway media continues to melt down over Trump’s latest appointment, Ingrassia’s nomination is energizing a conservative base that’s grown tired of bureaucratic bloat and deep-state stonewalling.

The message from Trump World is clear: the era of establishment lapdogs running the show is over. And if confirmed, Paul Ingrassia could be the bulldog watchdog the federal swamp has feared all along.
