Paul Ingrassia, a 30-year-old constitutional scholar, attorney, and former journalist at The Gateway Pundit, is Trump’s nominee to head the Office of Special Counsel — a federal watchdog responsible for investigating Hatch Act violations and safeguarding whistleblowers. But while the media clutches its pearls, grassroots conservatives are cheering.
The corporate press wasted no time launching personal attacks, labeling Ingrassia a “former right-wing podcast host” and focusing obsessively on past commentary where he defended free speech and questioned election integrity. Outlets like Fox’s San Diego affiliate even attempted to smear him by highlighting his past praise for controversial figures like Andrew Tate, whom he once described as an “extraordinary human being.”
