The feud between President Donald Trump and Elon Musk just went nuclear—and no amount of White House spin is walking this one back.
Late Thursday, reports surfaced that Trump aides were scrambling to schedule a Friday phone call between the President and former Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) head Elon Musk. According to insiders, the goal was to “broker a peace” following a bitter public fallout over Musk’s vocal attacks on Trump’s flagship One Big Beautiful Bill Act and renewed Epstein-related accusations.

But by Friday morning, Trump himself made it crystal clear: there will be no peace call. “He’s not particularly interested in talking to Elon Musk,” Trump told ABC News, slamming the billionaire as a “man who has lost his mind.”
“He said Musk wants to talk to him, but he’s not ready to talk to Musk.”
