Trump SAVES Troops From Schumer’s Shutdown

President Donald Trump took decisive action on Friday, directing Secretary of War Pete Hegseth to ensure that America’s troops receive their pay on October 15 — despite the government being shut down. The move is a direct response to what Trump has called the “Radical Left Shutdown” that has put 1.3 million active-duty service members’ paychecks on the line.

The federal government officially ground to a halt on October 1 after Congress failed to approve a funding bill. Since then, Democrats in the Senate have repeatedly blocked attempts to reopen operations, pushing the country into an unprecedented situation where active-duty military personnel could miss a paycheck for the first time in U.S. history.

Trump made it clear he wasn’t going to let that happen.

“Chuck Schumer recently said, ‘Every day gets better’ during their Radical Left Shutdown. I DISAGREE!” Trump wrote Friday on Truth Social. “If nothing is done, because of ‘Leader’ Chuck Schumer and the Democrats, our Brave Troops will miss the paychecks they are rightfully due on October 15th.”
