Jon Stewart built his reputation as the guy who mocked politicians on both sides of the aisle. He once wore the mask of the “neutral comedian” who just wanted to make people laugh.
But that version of Stewart is long gone.
This week, the liberal late-night host went on an unhinged rant against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)—a tirade so vile it stunned viewers and infuriated law enforcement supporters across the country.
During Monday’s episode of The Daily Show, Stewart unleashed on ICE in a way that revealed just how far he’s drifted from comedy into political propaganda.
“ICE went from deporting the worst of the worst to throwing grandmothers onto linoleum and zip-tying American children,” Stewart declared to cheers from his left-wing audience.
