Trump’s Iran Deal Is Done — Here’s What Changes

President Donald Trump arrived at the G7 Summit in France on Monday with significant momentum following what he described as a historic peace agreement between the United States and Iran. The announcement marks a major foreign policy achievement for the administration and immediately became a focal point of discussions with world leaders attending the summit.

During a bilateral meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, Trump highlighted the newly finalized agreement and credited several key figures who helped bring the negotiations across the finish line. Among them was Vice President JD Vance, whom Trump singled out for playing a critical role throughout the process.

Speaking to reporters during the public portion of the meeting, Trump outlined what he believes will be the far-reaching benefits of the agreement.

“The Iran deal that we made is going to bring a lot of success to the world because the oil was really clogged up there (Strait of Hormuz) for a while,” Trump said.
