Joe Biden has finally responded to President Trump’s newly announced investigation into who was really in charge during his presidency—and the answer Biden gave should insult every American’s intelligence.
Earlier this week, President Trump launched an official inquiry aimed at uncovering whether key Biden staffers conspired to mislead the nation about Biden’s declining mental state while using a mechanical “autopen” to push radical executive actions under his name. The order, directed by Trump to White House Counsel David Warrington and Attorney General Pam Bondi, seeks answers on what could be one of the most brazen abuses of executive authority in modern history.
“In recent months, it has become increasingly apparent that former President Biden’s aides abused the power of Presidential signatures through the use of an autopen to conceal Biden’s cognitive decline and assert Article II authority,” Trump wrote in a memo announcing the investigation. “This conspiracy marks one of the most dangerous and concerning scandals in American history. The American public was purposefully shielded from discovering who wielded the executive power, all while Biden’s signature was deployed across thousands of documents to effect radical policy shifts.”
Trump went even further in outlining the constitutional implications of what he says could amount to a silent coup.
