What set this investigation in motion? It was a criminal referral from former CIA Director John Ratcliffe to FBI Director Kash Patel—two Trump allies now heading the intelligence agencies.
Ratcliffe recently declassified a damning review exposing the flawed origins of the 2017 intelligence assessment that claimed Russia worked to help Trump win the 2016 election. According to the findings, the report was not only rushed but riddled with “procedural anomalies” that violated standard practices.
Perhaps most shocking was Brennan’s push to include the now-discredited Steele Dossier in that assessment—despite fierce objections from senior CIA officials who argued it failed to meet basic intelligence standards.
“Despite these objections,” Ratcliffe wrote, “Brennan showed a preference for narrative consistency over analytical soundness.”
And the contradiction didn’t stop there. Brennan later testified before Congress in 2023 that he didn’t believe the dossier should have been included. Yet in internal CIA documents, Brennan wrote, “My bottom line is that I believe that the information warrants inclusion in the report.”
That discrepancy appears to be a key focus of the criminal investigation now facing him.
Let’s be clear—this was never just about Brennan and Comey going rogue. This was a coordinated, top-down attempt by entrenched bureaucrats to sabotage a sitting President using intelligence tools for political warfare.
The Steele Dossier, bankrolled by Hillary Clinton’s campaign, was packed with wild, unverified allegations tying Trump to Russia. And yet, it was weaponized by the intelligence community to justify FISA warrants, including those used to spy on Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.
It fueled years of media hysteria and congressional investigations—all of which ultimately found no evidence of Trump-Russia collusion.
Even Special Counsel John Durham’s 2023 report concluded the FBI had no legitimate basis to launch its investigation in the first place. While he stopped short of indicting top brass, the damage to the DOJ’s credibility was undeniable.
Now that the spotlight is back on him, Brennan is hitting the airwaves to do damage control. On MSNBC, he lamented, “It’s hard to believe that here we are” still talking about 2016 and said the probe is “a very sad and tragic example of the continued politicization of the intelligence community.”
That’s rich, considering Brennan himself was instrumental in politicizing intel against Trump.
He also claimed he was “shocked that individuals are willing to sacrifice their reputations, their credibility, their decency to continue to do Donald Trump’s bidding.”
The irony couldn’t be thicker. Brennan and Comey already sacrificed their reputations when they pushed a false narrative to try and destroy a duly elected President.
A DOJ spokesperson has confirmed the investigations are ongoing, but refused to give specifics, stating: “We do not comment on ongoing investigations.”
For years, Trump was branded a conspiracy theorist for calling the Russia investigation a politically motivated hoax. Now, even the DOJ is beginning to acknowledge the depth of corruption that occurred under Obama-era intelligence leadership.
The fact is, senior officials ignored intelligence protocols, relied on shady opposition research, and misled both Congress and the American public.
With Trump-aligned figures now in control of the CIA and FBI, the truth is finally emerging—and it’s not pretty for Brennan, Comey, or their media allies.
They thought they were untouchable. They believed they could wage war on a sitting President and never face consequences.
But that era of invincibility may be coming to an end.
The American people deserve answers. They deserve justice. And if Brennan and Comey broke the law, they should be held accountable just like any other citizen.
No more hiding behind titles. No more media cover. The truth is coming out—and the Deep State is finally being dragged into the light.
