While that exchange didn’t deliver a solid timeline, Trump pointed back to his administration’s unprecedented move toward government transparency—a promise few in D.C. have ever delivered on. He reminded the press about his bold decision to release classified documents tied to the JFK and MLK assassinations without redactions.
“I know that we’ve done the RFK, the Kennedy. Martin Luther King is out there very shortly, so we’ll find out. We’ve really announced we’re doing them in full transparency,” Trump stated. “When we did JFK, people were saying, ‘Oh, maybe it wasn’t all’—it was all… People actually went up to the office, and they looked at some things… and they were amazed that we gave it all.”

Still, that same level of openness has yet to be seen in the Epstein saga—especially under the watch of Attorney General Pam Bondi.
Bondi, once celebrated among grassroots conservatives, is now under fire from MAGA patriots who say she’s all talk and no action when it comes to the most explosive scandal in recent American history: Jeffrey Epstein’s network of elites.
While Bondi has been a frequent face on Fox News, her actual results remain underwhelming. According to a Rolling Stone report, Media Matters tracked 11 appearances on Fox News alone between February 5 and late March—not counting weekend hits or other networks.
On February 21, Bondi told Fox viewers that she had Epstein-related files “sitting on my desk right now to review,” and confirmed she was acting under direct orders from President Trump. Yet weeks later, patience has worn thin.
Asked if any criminal activity had been uncovered, Bondi simply answered, “Not yet.”
In an interview with conservative commentator Benny Johnson, Bondi again hinted that there were “a lot of documents,” but kept the details vague. Her reluctance to disclose specifics has only fueled speculation that deep-state actors are still playing defense.
Then came the release of “The Epstein Files: Phase One” on February 27—200 pages of flight records, redacted names, and a heavily censored contact book. It was instantly condemned by the base as a “colossal disappointment.”

The day before the release, Bondi hyped it up on Jesse Watters Primetime, promising “flight logs, names, and a lot of information.” Instead, what Americans got was more red tape and more secrecy.
Bondi later revealed that the FBI’s Southern District of New York (SDNY) office withheld thousands of additional Epstein documents. She sent a letter to FBI Director Kash Patel, demanding all materials be handed over by 8:00 AM on February 28.
On Life, Liberty & Levin with Mark Levin, Bondi said she had been misled. The FBI told her there were only 120 pages. That claim, according to her, turned out to be a lie.
By March 4, on Hannity, Bondi confirmed that the SDNY finally surrendered “thousands of pages” of hidden Epstein documents after her deadline. She tasked Patel with a full investigation and made it clear: “America has the right to know.”
Bondi assured the public that redactions would be limited to protect victims and grand jury info, promising the rest would be made public—unlike under Biden’s DOJ, which “sat on these documents.”
During an April interview with Maria Bartiromo, the pressure continued to mount. MAGA supporters wanted answers, not appearances. Bondi didn’t flinch: “They can try to hide documents from us, but they can’t… We will find them, and we will release them to the American people.”
Finally, on April 8, conservative legal watchdog Judicial Watch took action—filing a lawsuit against the Department of Justice over what they say is illegal suppression of Epstein’s client records in violation of the Freedom of Information Act.
With public trust eroding and the MAGA movement demanding answers, the clock is ticking. The American people are done waiting. They want names. They want accountability. And they want it now.
