Trump Gets BIG Win Amid Election Investigation

A major court battle tied to the aftermath of the 2020 election just took another dramatic turn, as a federal judge declined to force the Biden Justice Department to hand back ballots and election materials seized from Georgia’s most controversial county.

On Wednesday, U.S. District Judge J.P. Boulee ruled against Fulton County officials who had demanded the immediate return of ballots and records taken during a federal election investigation that has sparked outrage and alarm among local leaders.

The decision marks a significant victory for the Justice Department while raising even more questions about the federal government’s growing involvement in election-related investigations ahead of the critical 2026 midterm elections.

Judge Boulee admitted in his ruling that the circumstances surrounding the case were extraordinary, acknowledging that the chain of events leading up to the legal showdown was “unprecedented” in several respects. However, despite expressing concerns about how federal investigators handled parts of the case, the judge ultimately determined that Fulton County had not met the demanding legal threshold necessary to overturn the seizure.
