President Donald Trump weighed in Wednesday on one of the most bizarre mysteries surrounding Iran’s ruling regime, saying he believes Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is still alive despite months of secrecy and growing questions about his condition.
Speaking with conservative radio host Glenn Beck, Trump said Mojtaba Khamenei suffered devastating injuries but rejected speculation that the Iranian leader has died.
“I don’t think he’s dead. He was very seriously wounded. The left side of his body, the arm, the leg, the whole thing. He was very seriously wounded. But I don’t think he’s dead,” Trump said.
