In his now-viral social media post, Doran doubled down on his theory, alleging Trump’s arrest would stem from collusion with foreign actors to manipulate elections. But he didn’t stop there.
Doran went as far as to call for a massive demonstration in Washington, D.C., on Inauguration Day if his prediction fails to materialize. He urged millions of Americans, including leftist groups and allies, to converge on the capital to demand Trump’s resignation, proving once again the left’s alarming double standard on public protests.
“Don’t forget, it’s We the People, okay?” Doran declared in a rambling video. “Executive Order 13848 is coming out. It’s been out, and Donald Trump helped create it. It’s going to come back to bite him because it says how we have to proceed when there’s outside interference in our elections.”
According to Doran’s “prophecy,” December 20th marks a crucial date — exactly 45 days after the November 6th period he cites. If no action is taken by then, Doran ominously called for mass mobilization on January 20th, saying:
“If Executive Order 13848 isn’t implemented next week, then by January 20th—the day of the inauguration—We the People are going to have to show up in Washington and have this guy step down. … Eleven million of us need to show up in Washington, D.C., on January 20th and have this guy step down.”
Doran’s remarks immediately sparked controversy. The same liberals who once labeled conservative demonstrations as “insurrections” and “threats to democracy” seem strangely quiet when their own supporters call for mass action. Doran’s rhetoric included calls for people from across the country—“Black, white, trans, LGBTQ2, drag queens”—to descend on Washington, D.C.
“Peacefully and coincidentally, we’re going to meet and have this guy step down. That’s our fail-safe,” Doran added.
While his message was cloaked in calls for “peaceful” action, the underlying implication was clear. The same people who vilified conservative gatherings are now openly endorsing large-scale protests when it aligns with their political goals. What happened to their cries about “political violence” or “threats to the republic”?

The hypocrisy is impossible to ignore.
Notably, Executive Order 13848, the centerpiece of Doran’s theory, was issued by President Trump to address foreign interference in U.S. elections. The order granted the government authority to sanction individuals or entities found guilty of meddling. Yet Doran’s attempt to twist this order into a left-wing conspiracy against Trump defies logic and reality.
Of course, the mainstream media has remained largely silent on Doran’s wild claims. After years of dismissing conservative concerns as “baseless conspiracies,” they are unwilling to apply the same scrutiny to one of their own.
The broader issue here is not just Doran’s fringe predictions but the glaring double standard. When conservatives questioned election integrity, they were condemned as enemies of democracy. When leftist activists push equally unsubstantiated claims, their words are either ignored or quietly tolerated.
If liberals truly cared about the stability of our democratic institutions, they would denounce calls for mass demonstrations and bizarre arrest fantasies as fervently as they denounced conservative skepticism. Instead, their silence speaks volumes.
In the end, Doran’s ramblings may amount to nothing more than online theatrics. But the hypocrisy they expose should serve as a wake-up call. When the left plays by one set of rules and holds conservatives to another, it erodes the very trust and unity they claim to champion.
