Trump Allies Forge Ahead: Plans for White House Resurgence!

In anticipation of a probable second term for Donald Trump, conservatives are waging a calculated and historic effort to maximize his impact should he win in November.

The Center Square claims that “the movement, named Project 2025, announced this week it had the backing of 100 conservative groups, including the most established and well-funded institutions inside Washington, D.C.”

According to the publication, the effort is focused on four areas:

  • A database of conservatives and Trump loyalists to quickly stock the executive branch.
  • Preemptive training for those appointees so they can immediately take action once they take office.
  • An aggressive policy agenda to begin implementing on day one.
  • A 180-day playbook for Trump’s second term.

During his first term, Trump encountered several challenges, especially in the early years. Even though the party controlled Congress, defections within his own ranks and oppositional Republican leaders hampered his program. His efforts was further hampered by a flurry of inquiries, notably the special counsel inquiry into “Russian collusion” that was started by then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

Many were taken aback by Trump’s win over Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, and his first few months and years in office were characterized by confusion and disarray, the publication stated.

“This is a historic moment for the conservative movement,” According to The Center Square, Paul Dans, the head of the 2025 Presidential Transition Project, stated in a statement. “From the time we launched this project, we knew conservatives needed to put aside differences and come together if we are to succeed in restoring our federal government to one ‘of the people, by the people, and for the people.’ And reaching 100 members on our advisory board is monumental.”

The Center Square includes:

Leading the initiative is the Heritage Foundation. Notably, during his first term, Trump unveiled a list of possible justices for the Supreme Court, which was compiled with assistance from the Heritage Foundation and the Federalist Society.

Trump’s ability to choose three judges in a single term had a big influence on a number of important court issues, not the least of which was the overturning of Roe v. Wade, which gave the states more control over abortion.
