Attorney General Letitia James, a leftist from New York, has threatened to take President Trump’s assets if he doesn’t pay Judge Arthur Engoron’s hefty court punishment.
“If he does not have funds to pay off the judgment, then we will seek judgment enforcement mechanisms in court, and we will ask the judge to seize his assets,” James told ABC News.

Engoron penalized Trump $355 million and prohibited him from conducting business in New York City for the following three years, as the Gateway Pundit revealed. Trump, according to Engoron “participated in aiding and abetting the conspiracy to commit insurance fraud by their individual acts in falsifying business records and valuations, causing materially fraudulent SFCs to be intentionally submitted to insurance companies.”
This is an unfounded allegation. Jim Hoft points out that the banks showed a readiness to lend money to Trump in the future and carried out extensive due diligence before doing so.
Trump has accused Engoron of plotting with James and has vowed to challenge the allegations.
James continued, telling the network that she would gladly take at least one of Trump’s properties and that she is “very confident” in the strength of her case on appeal. She particularly mentioned Trump’s 40 Wall Street tower.
