According to Thanedar’s team, the left’s new impeachment obsession includes these flimsy allegations:
- Obstruction of Justice and Abuse of Power: Accusations involving deportations, ignoring court rulings, and alleged misuse of the DOJ.
- Usurpation of Congressional Authority: Claims that Trump dismantled agencies and withheld federal funds.
- Misuse of Trade Powers: Criticism over Trump’s tariffs and strong foreign policy stances.
- First Amendment Violations: Allegations that Trump retaliated against critics, the media, and attorneys.
- Creation of an Unconstitutional Office: Thanedar outrageously claims Trump unlawfully created a “Department of Government Efficiency” and gave Elon Musk unconstitutional powers.
- Bribery and Corruption: Assertions involving dismissed cases, foreign payments, and settlements.
- Tyrannical Overreach: Wild claims that Trump seeks to “consolidate unchecked power” and “erode civil liberties.”
This isn’t just a lonely backbencher throwing a tantrum. Thanedar’s impeachment push is gaining real traction among Democrats desperate to derail Trump before the 2026 midterms.
Georgia Democrat Senator Jon Ossoff, who faces a brutal reelection fight in 2026, rushed to throw his support behind the impeachment circus.
“I mean, I saw just 48 hours ago, he is granting audiences to people who buy his meme coin,” Ossoff said, grasping for a reason to impeach. “When the sitting president of the United States is selling access for what are effectively payments directly to him. There is no question that that rises to the level of an impeachable offense.”
Ossoff backing impeachment — despite how vulnerable he is politically — shows just how far gone the Democrat Party is. They’re willing to torch their own chances to pursue their vendetta against Trump.
Veteran Trump pollster John McLaughlin didn’t sugarcoat what’s coming if Democrats seize control of Congress in 2026.
“I’m certain,” McLaughlin told Axios, warning that a Democrat majority would waste no time launching another impeachment assault.

McLaughlin stressed that Republicans have no room for error. The only way to stop this madness is to rally behind Trump’s agenda, deliver results, and remind voters why Trump’s leadership matters.
“We need to pass the tax cuts and avoid a recession,” McLaughlin explained. “That’s the high stakes here. We cannot lose the midterms.”
The radical left will stop at nothing to take down President Trump — even if it means dragging the country through another baseless impeachment sham. Republicans must stay united, stay focused, and fight back before it’s too late.
