But one Texas representative just took a sledgehammer to that narrative.
And what he revealed is lighting up the gun control debate in a way Democrats never saw coming.
Across America, liberal-run cities have embraced gun buyback programs like a sacred ritual. Politicians promise these events will somehow make communities safer. And the media eats it up — staging photos of officials standing behind piles of dusty, old rifles like they just stopped a war.
