In a shocking and bold claim, former personal lawyer to Donald Trump, Michael Cohen, is now warning that if Trump wins the presidency again, he will fundamentally alter the United States as we know it. Cohen suggested that Trump could abolish Congress and the judiciary, turning the U.S. into a nation comparable to authoritarian regimes like North Korea and Russia.
Cohen, who has been outspoken about his former boss since their fallout, shared his thoughts during an interview on MSNBC’s Deadline with Nicolle Wallace. He claimed that Trump’s agenda would include rewriting the Constitution to consolidate power solely within the executive branch.

“This was about my book,” Cohen began, referencing his memoir Disloyal, which was highly critical of Trump. “He was afraid that the book, Disloyal, was critical of him and didn’t want it published. So they created a fraudulent document to have me sign that completely impeded my First Amendment Constitutional right. When I refused to sign the document, they asked me to wait in the hallway. I did.”
