Service Members Can Return—IF They Accept THIS

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

It wasn’t until President Trump returned to power and issued an executive order in January that real justice began to take shape. Trump’s order was straightforward: bring those patriots back.

“Former service members … are now receiving letters of apology from the department in the mail, along with instructions on how they can pursue returning to service,” Dill confirmed.

According to Dill, troops who were kicked out against their will would be eligible for back pay. But there’s a catch—those who the military claims “voluntarily separated” are being denied that compensation. Regardless of how they exited, all are supposed to be reinstated at their previous rank and salary. They have until April 1, 2026, to notify the military if they want to come back.

That all sounds reasonable—until you see what’s happening behind the scenes.

While the Army and Navy have begun the outreach process to former members, the Air Force, Air National Guard, and Space Force are requiring former troops to sign what amounts to a loyalty oath—one that many see as completely false.

According to Just the News, these service members must sign a form admitting they left “voluntarily” and “without coercion” in order to qualify for reentry. And that requirement comes directly from the language of Trump’s executive order:

“Allow any service members who provide a written and sworn attestation that they voluntarily left the service or allowed their service to lapse according to appropriate procedures, rather than be vaccinated under the vaccine mandate, to return to service with no impact on their service status, rank, or pay.”

But that clause is now being used as a weapon against those who resisted the mandate and were effectively forced out. And some veterans are refusing to play along with the Pentagon’s narrative.

“I talked to several clients who were forced out,” said attorney R. Davis Younts, who represents multiple affected veterans. “They have no interest in signing the document,” he continued. “They don’t care much about back pay, but they are not going to sign a false statement just to come back in.”

Younts also raised red flags about what these forms really mean. Signing them could cause vets to forfeit rightful promotions or financial compensation they were denied due to the mandate.

“If I have clients who I believe have a legitimate claim to rectify an error in justice that occurred—like they should’ve been promoted but weren’t, or were not allowed to reenlist over the vaccine because of an injunction pending—I’d have a hard time advising them to sign it,” Younts explained. “They’re waiving a lot, saying they left voluntarily, and waiving the opportunity to be compensated for the loss of promotion and backpay.”

He also made a chilling accusation: this may be a coordinated effort to quietly sabotage Trump’s efforts to do right by these patriots.

“I’m optimistic that senior leadership and officials that I talked to at the Pentagon understand and are sympathetic to these concerns and want to address them,” Younts said. “But I’m seeing a level of malicious compliance in an attempt to stop, slow roll, or make an effort to make reinstatement meaningless for most people impacted by COVID.”

So there it is—another round of Pentagon stonewalling that reeks of political spite. President Trump handed the military an opportunity to correct one of the most disgraceful episodes in recent memory. Instead of embracing it, the Biden-era Pentagon is twisting the process into a paperwork nightmare, effectively shutting the door on the same heroes they once kicked to the curb.

If the Biden administration had any real interest in justice, they’d let these troops back in with dignity—not force them to rewrite history.

  1. Sounds like the like it not what was represented by Secretary Hegseth. why are there now loyalty oaths being required by the Air Force, Air National Guard & SPACE FORCE. It does not affect me personally for I retired back in 1989. but this requirement for these branches, in my opinion is going overboard. Especially when the Navy & Army have no such requirement.

  2. Americans (mainly the Conservative Voters): Hello. I am very disappointed to see the furtive leftist intent written within the Executive Order that re-instated the Service Members, but requires their acknowledging that they were severed by obiden voluntarily…which is not true. They were INvoluntarily severed by obiden, including first responders, medical service personnel, policemen, firemen, et al.
Regarding the “re-instatement” for military personnel, the complete re-instatement should include: reinstated to rank and service time based upon the date severed to reinstatement date, similarly dated for back pay, similarly dated for subsistence and quarters allowances.
AND, the military re-instatement should apply to all military academy personnel involuntarily severed because they did not accept the “covid jab”.
AND, what about re-instatement by employers for those INvoluntarily severed by obiden, including first responders, medical service personnel, policemen, firemen, et al ? Would the Secretary of Commerce run with those re-instatements? For those re-instatements public announcements must be made to identify the process for those people to officially get the Trump47 Administration’s contact information to get re-instated with Presidential endorsement to erase the stain/stigma by obiden for directing involuntary firing by their former employers.
We must erase this travesty by obiden upon many citizens.
