They praised Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for his strong commitment to fiscal conservatism and recognized entrepreneur billionaire Vivek Ramaswamy as a vital voice. They also disclosed that they had met and listened to independent Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. throughout their interactions. But the main thrust of their statement was an intense and biting criticism of Haley.

About the candidates, he stated,

Dr. Paul clarified:
“I don’t believe that any knowledgeable or well-informed conservative or libertarian should back Nikki Haley. I’ve observed her perspective on our foreign missions. I have witnessed her participation in the military-industrial complex, where she was paid eight million dollars to join the team. However, I’ve also seen her say that she believes using the internet should require registration and that anonymous posting of ideas is acceptable. She doesn’t seem to realize, in my opinion, that the foundation of our republic was laid by individuals like John Jay, Madison, Ben Franklin, Sam Adams, and others who frequently posted anonymously out of fear of the government.
And I believe that all libertarian-leaning conservatives should disqualify her for not really understanding that or for believing that you should register for the internet somehow through the government.
