Ram Just Told the EV Industry: “Not So Fast”

For years, American auto enthusiasts have watched with frustration as automakers bowed to the demands of environmental activists and government bureaucrats, stripping away the soul of what made American vehicles great. But now, one company is drawing a hard line in the sand — and it’s doing it with a growl that can be heard across the nation.

In a bold and unapologetic move, Ram has announced the triumphant return of its iconic HEMI V-8 engine. After Stellantis — Ram’s parent company — yanked the beloved 5.7-liter HEMI from its 1500 lineup in 2024, loyal customers revolted. Sales tanked, backlash poured in, and the message from American truck buyers couldn’t have been louder.

Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis took full ownership of the mistake.

“Everyone makes mistakes, but how you handle them defines you. Ram screwed up when we dropped the HEMI — we own it and we fixed it,” Kuniskis said in a no-nonsense statement.
