Pritzker Claims Trump Can’t Think Straight

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

Instead of focusing on Chicago’s skyrocketing crime, Pritzker chose to attack Trump personally. Appearing alongside far-left Mayor Brandon Johnson (D) at a “food insecurity” event hosted by City Colleges of Chicago, Pritzker used the platform to smear Trump’s mental fitness.

“It appears that Donald Trump not only has dementia set in, but he’s copying tactics of Vladimir Putin,” Pritzker said in front of reporters. “Sending troops into cities, thinking that that’s some sort of proving ground for war or that indeed there’s some sort of internal war going on in the United States is just frankly inane, and I’m concerned for his health.”

Not stopping there, Pritzker later doubled down and demanded Trump’s removal through the 25th Amendment. “There is something genuinely wrong with this man and the 25th Amendment ought to be invoked,” he declared in remarks captured by Forbes Breaking News.

The 25th Amendment, particularly Section Four, is a rarely discussed provision of the Constitution that outlines the process for removing a president deemed “unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.” It allows the Vice President and a majority of Cabinet officials to declare the president incapacitated, temporarily transferring authority until Congress makes a final decision.

For context, such drastic measures have almost never been used in American history. Yet Democrats appear increasingly eager to wield constitutional tools designed for genuine incapacitation as political weapons against Trump.

Pritzker’s attack isn’t an isolated incident. Just last week, aging rock legend Bruce Springsteen joined the chorus, telling TIME magazine that Trump should be removed either through the 25th Amendment or outright impeachment.

Springsteen ranted, “He doesn’t care about anybody but himself and the multibillionaires who stood behind him on Inauguration Day… You have to face the fact that a good number of Americans are simply comfortable with his politics of power and dominance. He’s the living personification of what the 25th Amendment and impeachment were for. If Congress had any guts, he’d be consigned to the trash heap of history.”

Springsteen’s comments, amplified by outlets like Variety, echo the same talking points Pritzker now pushes: remove Trump at all costs. The timing is striking, as both voices have joined in on a coordinated effort to discredit the President after he took bold action to address lawlessness in Democrat-run cities.

The irony, of course, is that while Pritzker accuses Trump of being unfit for office, Chicago continues to spiral under Democratic leadership. The city has faced relentless violence, mass theft, and waves of illegal immigration that local officials seem powerless—or unwilling—to address. Instead of confronting the crisis head-on, Pritzker and Johnson have chosen to direct their energy toward demonizing Trump.

What’s clear is that Democrats like Pritzker are more outraged about Trump stepping in to protect Americans than they are about Chicago families living in fear of daily crime. With his rhetoric, Pritzker signaled he would rather play politics than welcome federal support that could save lives.

Trump, meanwhile, remains steadfast. By ordering federal agents and Guard troops to the streets, he’s sending the message that law and order will not be optional in America—no matter how loudly blue-state governors complain.
