Penske Tried To Shame ICE… Got Crushed

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

Instead of commending law enforcement for removing dangerous criminals from the streets, Penske decided to scold them. Their reason? ICE had used one of their rental trucks during the operation.

The company posted a statement on social media that read:

Trump Survivor Coin

“Penske Truck Rental was made aware that one of our rental vehicles may have been used inappropriately during a recent law enforcement operation.”

They went on:

“We want to be clear that we do not condone the reported use of our vehicle and are working with the appropriate authorities to address this matter.”

Translation? Penske was more upset about optics than about MS-13 criminals being taken off the streets. The message landed like a wet blanket with anyone who values law and order.

The Department of Homeland Security wasn’t about to let Penske’s statement go unchallenged. In a blistering post on X, DHS reminded the public of Penske’s selective outrage.

They posted a screenshot of a Fox News headline from 2023 about human smugglers cramming 58 migrants into a Penske truck to be trafficked into the U.S. The caption was brutal:

“Care to remind the American people what Penske said when this happened? Silence speaks volumes.”

DHS then doubled down:

“The brave agents of @ICEgov and @CBP will continue carrying out their mission to protect Americans.”

The message was clear — Penske had nothing to say when criminals abused their trucks for human smuggling, but suddenly found their moral compass when law enforcement used the same trucks to lock up violent gang members.

If Penske thought they were protecting their brand, the internet had other plans. The backlash was swift and unforgiving.

“Imagine being mad at law enforcement for arresting MS-13 gang members,” one user wrote.

Another posted, “Penske cares more about virtue signaling than public safety.”

A third piled on: “Maybe Penske should stick to renting trucks instead of giving law enforcement lectures.”

The public sentiment was clear — Americans overwhelmingly support the removal of dangerous criminals, not corporate PR games.

Penske’s misstep is part of a bigger trend. Too many corporations are more worried about upsetting woke Twitter activists than backing the men and women who keep our streets safe.

It’s worth noting that Penske had no issue taking federal dollars to rent their trucks to law enforcement. But when those trucks were used to take down MS-13 members, they suddenly took offense.

This is the same pattern we’ve seen with major companies pulling back from police support while crime skyrockets in Democrat-run cities. When corporate America caves to the Left, the only winners are criminals.

There’s no middle ground here — either you support removing violent gangs from our communities, or you don’t. MS-13 is a terrorist-style threat to American neighborhoods. President Trump has made it clear that his administration will back ICE and DHS in eradicating these gangs.

The last thing federal agents need is corporate interference from companies desperate to score points with activists. Penske’s little PR stunt just made them a case study in what not to do.

In the end, they might want to stick to renting trucks and leave law enforcement to the professionals.
