Democrats in North Carolina spent the past week screaming about President Donald Trump’s renewed immigration enforcement, insisting federal agents were terrorizing peaceful neighborhoods in Charlotte. They held press conferences, fired off statements, and lectured the public about “community fear.” But when the real numbers dropped, every one of them went silent in an instant.

Because federal agents didn’t find “victims of intimidation.” They found criminals. And a lot of them.
Democrats Tried to Stage a Political Show — Then Reality Showed Up
For days leading up to the enforcement action, Charlotte Democrats were practically tripping over microphones to attack Trump’s plan. State Representative Aisha Dew took the lead, confidently declaring her city didn’t need federal backup.
“We do not need to have Border Patrol. As I’ve already said, I’m not quite sure what border we’re patrolling here,” Dew told cameras, dismissing any concern about illegal activity in the area.
