A bombshell corruption scandal has erupted in Washington, as evidence of bribery and insider deals inside the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) has ignited a far-reaching federal probe. The revelations come on the heels of waste and fraud crackdowns driven by Elon Musk and former President Donald Trump, who both targeted bloated government spending under the Biden administration.
The scandal has now triggered the Small Business Administration (SBA) to dig deep into the past fifteen years of federal contracting, vowing to leave no stone unturned in rooting out corruption.
In a letter obtained by Fox News Digital, SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler minced no words, calling the fraud a “damning reflection of systemic failures in oversight and accountability,” and warning that it “was not an isolated incident.”
She’s ordered Associate Administrator Tre Pennie to immediately “act decisively” and kick off an exhaustive audit of every government contracting officer who has awarded grants or contracts dating back to 2010.
