President Donald Trump isn’t pulling any punches when it comes to Congressman Thomas Massie. In a fiery Truth Social post on Sunday, Trump made it clear he’s going all in to oust the Kentucky lawmaker from Congress. The reason? Massie dared to criticize Trump’s bold military strike on Iran—a move the 45th president calls a “spectacular military success.”
“Congressman Thomas Massie of Kentucky is not MAGA, even though he likes to say he is. Actually, MAGA doesn’t want him, doesn’t know him, and doesn’t respect him,” Trump wrote, calling Massie a “simple minded ‘grandstander.’”
The public takedown comes just a day after the United States launched “Operation Midnight Hammer,” a massive 18-hour bombing mission on Iranian nuclear sites. Trump authorized the use of GBU-57 bunker-busting bombs in a show of force that sent shockwaves across the globe.
