The Left’s outrage machine has kicked into overdrive as former President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown intensifies. But while Democrat leaders and their media allies scream “abuse of power,” one Fox News contributor just shattered their narrative with a dose of blunt truth.
Mary Katherine Ham, known for her no-nonsense commentary, pulled no punches during a recent appearance on Fox News Sunday — and her remarks left liberal apologists scrambling to recover.
The American Civil Liberties Union is once again throwing a fit — this time over Trump’s aggressive efforts to deport illegal aliens with violent criminal histories. The group is accusing the administration of an “inflammatory and abusive use of power” and claiming the federal government is “recklessly undermining our foundational democratic principle that the military should not police civilians.”
In other words, the ACLU is more worried about foreign criminals than American citizens.
This has become a familiar script for the Left: wrap convicted criminals in civil liberties language, accuse the Right of tyranny, and ignore the victims left behind in the carnage.
