It didn’t take long for the American Civil Liberties Union to clutch their pearls. Once word spread of Trump’s escalated immigration enforcement, the ACLU predictably lashed out, labeling it an “inflammatory and abusive use of power,” while claiming it “recklessly undermines our foundational democratic principle that the military should not police civilians.”
This is nothing new. The ACLU and their Democrat allies have a long history of wrapping violent criminals in the American flag and pretending it’s about “civil rights.” It’s a well-worn trick designed to confuse the public and turn felons into victims.
