Luna Calls Out John Thune LIVE!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

That message immediately sent shockwaves through conservative circles, where frustration has already been building over what many see as another example of the Republican establishment failing to fight when it actually holds power.

For months, Republican voters were told the Senate was working through the process, considering options, and pushing forward on reforms. But now, according to new reporting, the bill may be headed for the shelf.

Punchbowl News reported:

“The Senate will come off of the SAVE America Act this week & may not return to it any time soon, if at all. When they start voting on the ICE/Border Patrol budget resolution, SAVE will no longer be the pending business That means Thune would need to hold another procedural vote to restart floor debate

[…]

“Thune does NOT commit to holding a vote to get back onto the SAVE America Act after the budget resolution & FISA reauthorization are done. (Senate will come off of SAVE this week to pass the budget resolution; would require another vote) ‘If we don’t have other pressing stuff in front of us that has to get done…then we’ll see about getting that going,’ Thune tells.”

To many conservatives, that statement was nothing short of infuriating.

Election security has been one of the top issues for Republican voters for years. Yet Thune’s comments suggesting there may be “other pressing stuff” more important than voter protections only added fuel to the fire.

Luna wasted no time firing back with a second message aimed directly at Senate leadership.

“No Voter ID? No FISA.”

That statement references the coming battle over surveillance powers under FISA Section 702 — an issue that has deeply divided conservatives, especially those concerned about government abuse and spying on Americans.

Utah Senator Mike Lee also joined the growing chorus of criticism, publicly questioning why Senate Republicans seem unwilling to prioritize what voters actually want.

He posted:

“When Americans want one thing (the SAVE America Act) and the Swamp wants another (FISA 702 reauthorization without reforms), the Senate GOP should side with the people — not the Swamp.

So why is this so difficult?”

WATCH:

Lee’s remarks captured a growing mood among the conservative base: Republicans campaigned on restoring election trust, but once in power, many appear more interested in procedural excuses than real action.

Supporters of the SAVE America Act argue the bill would require commonsense safeguards such as stronger voter verification standards and protections against illegal voting. They believe such reforms are essential after years of controversy and distrust surrounding election administration.

With Republicans controlling the White House, House of Representatives, and Senate, many voters are asking a simple question: If not now, when?

That question is now being directed squarely at Thune.

Across X, several prominent conservative voices are openly discussing whether Senate Republicans should move to replace Thune as leader if he refuses to advance the legislation.

What began as frustration is quickly turning into a rebellion.

For the America First movement, this moment is about far more than one bill. It is about whether Republican leadership intends to honor the promises made to voters — or continue the same weak pattern of surrender that has enraged the base for years.

If the SAVE America Act dies quietly, conservatives may not forget who let it happen.
