New Mexico Rejected Offer, Federal Government Took Action
A seven-acre parcel near the Santa Teresa border crossing became the center of the latest showdown between the Trump administration and Democrat state officials.
The land, controlled by the New Mexico State Land Office, was targeted for new steel bollard barriers, surveillance technology, and access roads designed to strengthen border enforcement in a high-traffic area.
