The 16-time world champion did not hold back when discussing Lakers superstar Luka Dončić sitting out the entire playoff series with a lingering hamstring injury while collecting a staggering $46 million paycheck.

Flair, a man whose career was built on toughness and pain tolerance, blasted today’s soft sports culture during an appearance on Yahoo Sports Daily after Oklahoma City completed the sweep Monday night.

“I’ve taken a cortisone shot, I’ve wrestled with a broken ankle, so I don’t have much sympathy for the hamstring,” Flair said.

Coming from almost anyone else, the criticism might have sounded like empty noise. But Flair’s words carried weight because the wrestling icon has spent decades surviving injuries that would have ended most careers.

Back in 1975, Flair survived a horrific plane crash in North Carolina that broke his back in three places. Doctors reportedly told him his career was finished. Six months later, he was back in the ring.
