The controversy erupted after CBS News aired a town hall featuring Erika Kirk, the widow of Charlie Kirk and the new CEO of Turning Point USA. The event allowed the nation to hear directly from a grieving wife and mother who has endured unspeakable hatred since her husband’s murder.
Instead of showing basic human decency, a radical influencer named Welch exploded in anger and demanded a full boycott of CBS News.
Her reason was simple. CBS dared to give Erika Kirk a platform.
