Hollywood actor Kelsey Grammer has never hidden where he stands politically. While most of the entertainment industry marches in lockstep with the left, Grammer has spent years openly identifying as a conservative Republican and a supporter of Donald Trump. That alone makes him a rarity in modern Hollywood. But during a recent appearance on Tomi Lahren’s podcast, Grammer went far beyond partisan talking points and delivered a sobering warning about the future of American politics that conservatives would be wise to take seriously.
Grammer’s message was not framed as an attack on Trump. In fact, it was quite the opposite. His comments were rooted in respect for what Trump endured and what he absorbed on behalf of millions of Americans. But Grammer made it clear that the political reality has shifted, and many conservatives have not fully come to terms with it yet.
According to Grammer, the left’s behavior when out of power has become increasingly reckless and destructive. He described a political movement that no longer debates ideas but instead seeks to intimidate, smear, and destroy anyone who stands in the way. In his words:
“The habits of the left when they are out of power is to just keep throwing lawnmowers or throwing rocks at glass houses or whatever you want to say.”
Grammer explained that the left understands its accusations are false, but it no longer cares. Labels like racist and fascist are deployed not because they are accurate, but because they are useful weapons. As Grammer put it:
