The war at America’s southern border has officially turned into something far darker than political debate. According to DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, cartels and foreign terrorist groups are no longer just smuggling people and drugs — they’re actively targeting U.S. law enforcement for assassination.
Cartels Put Price Tags on Federal Agents
During a tense appearance on Fox & Friends Weekend, Noem dropped intelligence that stunned the country.
“Our intelligence indicates that these people are organized, they’re getting more and more people on their team, as far as attacking officers, and they’re making plans to ambush them and to kill them,” she said.
But the next line was even more shocking.
“We have specific officers and agents that have bounties that have been put out on their heads,” Noem continued. “It’s been $2,000 to kidnap them, $10,000 to kill them. They’ve released their pictures. They’ve sent them between their networks.”
