They told the public they had found redacted names tied to troubling activity.

“We found six men whose names have been redacted who are implicated in the way the files are presented,” Massie declared after reviewing materials at the Department of Justice.

Khanna then took the extraordinary step of reading the names into the Congressional Record on the House floor, relying on constitutional protections to shield himself from legal consequences.

“Why did it take Thomas Massie and me going to the Justice Department to get these six men’s identities to become public?” Khanna asked during his remarks. “And if we found six men that they were hiding in two hours, imagine how many men they are covering up for in those 3 million files.”
