The Left loves to claim the moral high ground when it comes to “respecting institutions.” But when their own words are thrown back in their faces, the mask slips — fast.
That’s exactly what happened when Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) grilled liberal law professor Kate Shaw during a Senate Judiciary subcommittee hearing this week. What started as a comfortable invitation for Shaw to promote the Democratic agenda quickly turned into a public takedown that left her stunned and stammering.
Kate Shaw, a University of Pennsylvania law professor and regular talking head on ABC News, strolled into the Senate hearing expecting a friendly crowd. Democrats invited her as their star witness to push for expanded judicial power to block presidential actions — conveniently aimed at Trump, of course.
But Shaw, who just happens to be married to MSNBC’s Chris Hayes, walked straight into a rhetorical buzzsaw.
