Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz are set to address Democratic National Committee (DNC) finance directors, following alarming reports of a $20 million campaign debt fueled by extravagant expenditures.
Political donor John Morgan, in an interview with NewsNation’s CUOMO on Monday, shared his concerns about the Harris-Walz campaign’s financial management, saying it was marked by “ego” and reckless spending. “All of a sudden, everybody’s got the keys to the candy store — ad buyers, talent consultants. There’s 100 days to do it, and the money started pouring in,” Morgan explained, hinting at unchecked spending.

The campaign reportedly splurged $15 million on event production, $4 million on private jets, and $1 million on a partnership with Oprah Winfrey’s company. When asked if these financial decisions might involve wrongdoing, Morgan replied, “Maybe legally.”
