Vice President JD Vance, a former Marine and lawyer, didn’t hold back in his response. On Sunday, he pointed out the absurdity of judges dictating how the executive branch should function.
“If a judge tried to tell a general how to conduct a military operation, that would be illegal,” Vance wrote. “If a judge tried to command the attorney general in how to use her discretion as a prosecutor, that’s also illegal.”
Vance made it clear that judges do not have the authority to obstruct the executive branch’s legitimate powers. “Judges aren’t allowed to control the executive’s legitimate power,” he concluded. Yet, activist judges appointed by Democrats seem determined to do just that.
