“Get 45 More DOGE Agents!” Trump Tells Musk

In a bold move to streamline federal operations, President Donald Trump has instructed billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk to hire 45 additional agents for the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). The agency, created to root out waste and inefficiency across federal departments, has already identified over $1 billion in unnecessary spending within the first few weeks of Trump’s second term.

Cutting Costs and Eliminating Bureaucratic Waste

Trump’s administration has made reducing government waste a top priority, and DOGE has taken swift action. According to The Wall Street Journal, the agency has been working aggressively to uncover wasteful programs, many tied to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. In just 21 days, the department has already slashed over $1 billion in spending.
