Jasmine Crockett’s Big Lie Just Blew Up

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin wasted zero time humiliating Crockett publicly. His response was brutal and impossible to walk back. He wrote, “Yes Crockett, a physician named Dr. Jeffrey Epstein (who is a totally different person than the other Jeffrey Epstein) donated to a prior campaign of mine.

Crockett’s meltdown only worsened when records confirmed Zeldin’s point. According to FEC data, Dr. Jeffrey Epstein donated exactly two times to Zeldin’s past campaign. One contribution of 750 dollars landed on April 24 in 2020. Another contribution of 250 dollars followed on August 31 in that same year. The sex offender Jeffrey Epstein had already died in 2019.

Even basic math destroyed Crockett’s claim.

Her excuse was that her staff “dug in very quickly.” That much was obvious. They typed a name into a database, grabbed whatever popped up, and handed it to her without a shred of fact checking. No confirmation. No verification. Not even the slightest pause to consider whether they were naming the wrong man.

Conservative reporter Chuck Ross added another blow by pointing out that every donor Crockett listed was not that Jeffrey Epstein. He explained that several came from the same physician and that the Zeldin donations happened well after the real Epstein was dead.

Crockett had attempted a smear. Instead, she exposed her own carelessness.

What made the fiasco even worse is that Crockett was trying to shield a Democrat who actually did communicate with the real Epstein. Stacey Plaskett faced censure after messages revealed she exchanged texts with Epstein during a House Oversight hearing in 2019. The messages showed Epstein feeding her questions aimed at Michael Cohen. One text from Epstein read, “Hes opened the door to questions re who are the other henchmen at trump org.” Plaskett came back with, “Yup. Very aware and waiting my turn.”

She later repeated those questions almost word for word.

Plaskett claimed Epstein was just a constituent. She argued it was not known he was under investigation at that time. Yet Epstein had been dealing with accusations of crimes against minors since 2006 and had pleaded guilty in 2008. There is no universe where his reputation was a mystery in 2019.

Despite clear evidence, Democrats crushed the censure resolution with the help of three Republicans while three more GOP members voted present.

Crockett believed she could create a diversion by fabricating links between Republicans and Epstein. Instead, she drew national attention to her own blunder and reignited scrutiny on Plaskett’s actual connection to the real predator.

President Trump has repeatedly described Crockett as “a very low-IQ person.” After her latest disaster, many Americans are starting to think he was being generous.
