Chicago Mayor Declares “War” on Trump
Instead of condemning the violence against federal law enforcement, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson doubled down. On Tuesday, he called the federal deployment “illegal, unconstitutional, dangerous and wrong.”
Even more shocking, Johnson issued an executive order creating so-called “ICE-free zones,” banning federal immigration agents from using city-owned property to perform enforcement operations.
“The Trump administration must end the war on Chicago,” Johnson declared. “The Trump administration must end this war against Americans.”
Yes — the same mayor calling law enforcement a “war on Americans” is the one whose city streets are seeing ICE agents attacked and boxed in by violent mobs.
Radical Activists Fuel the Fire
The group behind much of the unrest is the Coalition Against the Trump Agenda, a Chicago-based network known for organizing large-scale “resistance” actions. Despite the arrests, the group announced an “emergency protest” in downtown Chicago, scheduled for Wednesday.
Hatem Abudayyeh, National Chair of the U.S. Palestinian Community Network and a spokesman for the coalition, told Fox News Digital his group stands “united in fighting back against Trump’s racist and white supremacist attacks on our communities.”
He also claimed, “The Guard has been sent to join ICE in wreaking havoc and terrorizing our neighborhoods, because Chicagoans don’t back down from bullies like Trump.”
These are not grassroots protests — they’re coordinated operations by professional agitators with leadership structures, communications channels, and planned “emergency” mobilizations. Their goal isn’t reform — it’s chaos.
Trump Forces Democrats to Pick a Side
For months, Democrat leaders have tried to walk a fine line — condemning illegal immigration in theory while actively obstructing federal law enforcement in practice.
But Trump’s move has ended that double game. By sending in the Guard, the President has forced Illinois Democrats to choose: stand with federal agents enforcing the law, or side with the mobs attacking them.
And make no mistake — there’s no middle ground left.
The Trump Administration’s message is clear: if Democrat-run cities won’t protect federal officers, Washington will.
This deployment isn’t just about protecting ICE — it’s about restoring law and order in cities that have been hijacked by radical politics.
When local officials refuse to defend their own citizens and law enforcement officers, it falls on the federal government to do what’s right.
Trump’s decisive action shows that the days of letting left-wing activists and sanctuary politicians run wild are over.
And as federal agents once again carry out their mission under the protection of America’s finest troops, one thing is certain — the President just made it clear that lawlessness will not stand.
