The crisis at our southern border has reached a boiling point — and one man with decades of experience is calling it exactly how he sees it. On Monday morning, White House Border Czar Tom Homan delivered a chilling estimate that should concern every American: he believes at least 20 million illegal aliens are currently living in the United States — with 700,000 facing criminal charges who are still freely walking our streets.
“Look, I started in the Board Patrol in 1984. I’ve been at this for over 40 years. I’ve worked for six presidents, starting with Ronald Reagan. Every president I ever worked for took border security seriously because you can’t have national security if you don’t have strong border security. We got to know who’s coming in, what’s coming in, where it’s coming in, why it’s coming in, right?” Homan said during an early White House press briefing.

In a scathing rebuke of President Biden’s policies, Homan emphasized that even Presidents Clinton and Obama made efforts to fortify the border — something Biden has deliberately unraveled.
“Even President Obama and President Clinton took some steps to secure the border because they understood national security was important. Joe Biden was the first president in the history of this nation who came into office and unsecured a border on purpose. That’s just a fact. We handed the Biden Administration — after President Trump’s first administration, we handed the Biden Administration the most secure border in my lifetime and he unsecured it on purpose,” Homan added.
