Hollywood SHOCK: Scorsese Actor DEAD at 45

The entertainment world is mourning the heartbreaking loss of actor Samuel French, who passed away at just 45 after an extended and private battle with cancer. Known for his recent role in Martin Scorsese’s acclaimed “Killers of the Flower Moon,” French’s sudden passing has left a void in both Hollywood and the hearts of those who worked closely with him.

French, a Texas native born in Waco on January 26, 1980, died in his hometown where his battle quietly came to an end. He leaves behind a legacy of passion, perseverance, and powerful performances — a legacy that resonated far beyond the spotlight.

Director and casting professional Paul Sinacore, who collaborated with French in what would be the actor’s final role in the forthcoming film Towpath, confirmed the tragic news and shared a moving tribute.

“Samuel was a dear friend and an incredible actor,” Sinacore wrote on Instagram. “’Towpath’ wouldn’t exist without him, and the incredible intensity he brought to the role of Detective Bernard Crooke set the tone for the entire film.”
