FCC Just Made a HUGE Move Against Disney!

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Enforcement Bureau has launched an investigation into ABC and its parent company, Disney, over concerns that their diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies may be violating equal employment opportunity (EEO) regulations.

“I want to ensure that Disney and ABC have not been violating FCC equal employee opportunity regulations by promoting invidious forms of [diversity, equity and inclusion] discrimination,” FCC Chairman Brendan Carr stated in a letter to Disney CEO Bob Iger on Thursday.

Carr emphasized that the FCC is committed to ensuring that ABC and Disney have truly eliminated any discriminatory initiatives, rather than merely rebranding them under different terminology. He is also scrutinizing whether Disney’s past actions complied with FCC regulations, regardless of whether those actions have since ceased.
