Prince didn’t stop at the BlackRock connection. He was also highly critical of the federal government’s handling of the investigations into the assassination attempts. In particular, he raised concerns about the FBI’s credibility, citing the agency’s involvement in previous cases against Trump, including the raid on Mar-a-Lago over what he called “bogus documents.”
Prince pointed directly to the Miami field office, where the head agent, according to him, was instructed to scrub his social media history before being appointed. Prince stated that this individual had been “brilliantly anti-Trump” and questioned whether the FBI could be trusted to conduct an impartial investigation. “If we think that they’re going to be suddenly truth-seeking, the same guys that indicted him on complete nonsense charges, we’re kidding ourselves,” he warned.
Given his doubts about federal involvement, Prince advocated for the state of Florida to take over the investigation. He argued that the assassination attempts, which took place in Florida, were not only federal crimes but also state crimes. Prince urged Florida authorities to “flex up and assert” themselves in leading the investigation, as he believes the federal government has “lost all credibility.”

Prince’s concerns reflect a broader distrust among many Trump supporters toward federal institutions, particularly the FBI. His call for state involvement echoes similar sentiments from those who feel that Trump has been unfairly targeted by federal authorities.
Prince also took the opportunity to highlight what he sees as the dangerous rhetoric used by the political left regarding Trump. He accused them of fostering an environment that encourages violence against the former president by repeatedly labeling him as a threat to democracy. “The Left with their over-the-top, vitriolic, super-toxic language saying, Trump must be eliminated. He’s a threat to democracy. He’s Hitler, Hitler, Hitler,” Prince said. He argued that such language creates a permissive atmosphere for extremists to act on their violent impulses, viewing Trump’s elimination as a heroic act.

In describing the second would-be assassin, Prince detailed the meticulous planning that went into the attempt, noting that the individual had ballistic plates and a GoPro camera, seemingly preparing to document the act as a “trophy hunt.” According to Prince, the attacker was determined to become “the hero of the left” by killing Trump and claiming to be the “savior of democracy.”
Prince’s interview with Natalie Winters has reignited concerns about the safety of Donald Trump, especially in light of the recent assassination attempts. While the claim about BlackRock commercials has been debunked, the broader issues Prince raised, including federal bias and the role of political rhetoric in inciting violence, continue to resonate with many in the conservative community.
As investigations into the assassination attempts continue, Prince’s remarks underscore the tension and mistrust between Trump supporters and federal authorities. Whether or not state officials will heed his call to lead the investigation remains to be seen, but the controversy surrounding these incidents is unlikely to die down anytime soon.
