Elon Musk has been a long-time critic of California’s left-wing policies, and he didn’t hold back when Governor Gavin Newsom took the state even further down the path of radical progressivism. Musk moved SpaceX and X out of California in protest of Newsom’s aggressive push for woke gender ideology in public schools and the state’s hostile environment for businesses. But now, Newsom’s latest executive order has even the Tesla CEO stunned.
Newsom, a staunch opponent of former President Donald Trump, just signed an executive order that echoes one of Trump’s first-day policies: forcing government employees back into the office.

On his first day in office, Trump issued a wave of executive orders to dismantle Joe Biden’s disastrous policies, including one that mandated federal employees return to in-person work. During the pandemic, federal workers shifted to remote work, but many never returned even after the crisis ended. Trump made it clear that this era of government employees working from home was over.
