A former Democratic Socialists of America insider is sounding a fresh alarm about the organization he once helped lead, arguing that the movement has drifted far beyond the pragmatic economic left he initially believed he was joining.
Jake Altman, a former executive board member of the DSA’s Boston chapter who left the organization in 2022, told Fox News Digital that his experience inside the socialist movement ultimately convinced him that increasingly radical factions were gaining influence.
Altman said the organization is now attempting to “force their agenda down other people’s throats.”
